That's the phone without a case.
This is what it is...

I wished they had some type of brownish color available
Thanks for the photos!
I've already ordered the Seidio Innocase Surface.
Already have the clear case from T Mobile, but I've had cases and holsters from Seidio in the past, and they've always made excellent cases, holsters, etc. so I figured I'd take a chance. Your photos make me believe I didn't make a mistake!
The case looks VERY thin, and seems to add very little to the size of the G1, which is what attracted me to it in the first place, but should still provide protection.
does it have any felt or inner lining to protect the G1?
Thanks again for the photos!

The back plate does, but the front screen doesn't.

how do you like the innocase surface so far? I'm looking for a case and this seems to be the best I've seen. All the other cases seem too thick.

looks pretty good from the pics ;)
Well, I received my Innocase Surface (weird name...), and really like it!
It is THIN! About as thin as could be possible, while still providing protection. It is firm plastic, not a silicone/rubber type of case, so it does provide your G1 with protection.
It does not impede any of the buttons and has cutouts for speaker, mic, etc.
Also, really love the soft texture, same as the G1 in black comes with.
The finish is actually very much like the finish on a Black G1~! Feels secure in your hand, doesn't feel like it will slip out easily... gives you good gripe.
All in all, after having the clear T Mobile case (too slippery, and started to look beat up with scratches after six weeks, and the Body Glove (too thick for my preference), this one really seems like the perfect case for me!
Also, if you like holsters, you can order the hoster from Seidio... they really make the nicest hosters on the market, and they have a customized one that will fit the G1 with this case (or you can get a holster to fit the G1 without this case)
Highly recommend! (If you think you want the holster, check their site for a package deal... surface case + holster, and you'll save $10 plus cost of shipping twice!)

I'm loving the case/holster, I feel that my G1 is fully protected, its also very nice that I could easily take the G1 out of the holster... I highly recommend the combo..

Wow, this looks really sharp, I may go with the Surface and the Horizontal case instead of the vertical clip.
What about the screen guard that Seidio offers? Has anybody used it as well? I wonder if it's the same quality as the other clear skins available...

Does anyone know if the G1 w/Innocase "Surface" fits into the pouch that comes with the G1?

It's only a mm thick case, it does fit. The material that makes up the case is a very nice texture, grips onto your hand VERY well. But that also means its hard for it to go into the pouch. It does fit but you'll have to wiggle it in due to friction.

Does this case make it difficult to open the cover on the USB port? Can we get a shot of the USB port with the case on the phone? Thanks.

I read a review online and that seemed to be the only annoyance with the case. I would also like to see a picture of the USB port, gracias!

Has anyone that used this case also have the Mobi Products Cradle?

I just wonder if it is thin enough to fit in the dock without needing to remove the case from the phone ever time. I have order the house cradle and a cradle for my firebird.

How sturdy is the clip on the holster??? It definitely looks sharp and as long as the clip holds well I'm thinking this might be the one for me. It would be nice to hear from the OP as s/he's had it the longest in this thread!

I've had the case/ holster combo for over two months now. The clip is very sturdy. It's attached to my belt for 12 hours a day and I have yet to feel unsure about the holster. Hope that helps.

bobzoz, I don't think so.
My brother has a seidio case for his blackberry 8900. It's very nice.
DaveA, they're only $25.
I would get one but I have already gotten 3 cases (not as good as seidio) but when I take them off, I realize how much thinner the G1 is. So I ride naked.
