The new season of Lost is coming up and I was wondering if there are any fans of the show here on AC that also hate switching boards every few minutes and want to have all their favs in one?

Heroes is one of the worst shows on t.v.
Lost is one of the best.
I just can't seem to take the blue pill and follow American Idol, I guess.

I would watched a season of a series (smallville, oc, one tree hill, etc.) but then when they would end, I would stop watching it even when the new season started.
not much of a tv guy now that I work nights.

I also am a HUGE fan of lost, had it marked on my calendar ever since I knew what day it was coming back! I was completely caught up, but since there was such a long lay off between season 4 and 5 I watched seasons 1-4 again just to make sure I didn't forget anything. Needless to say I've got some spare time on my hands at times..

lost was ok untill the guy decided he didn't like where the island was and drove it somewhere else. Actually it went down hill long before that but that was the final shark jumping at least for me.

I love Heroes, but after that writers strike, it really messed up their season and following...
And "LOST"
I mean really they're all over the place, it's so hard to find the show.
Are they on the Island, or back in the States ( WTFudge )
;~)

Some people are still on the island, and some people have returned home. Lost is a show you have to watch from the very first episode or you will get extremely 'lost' lol

I guess it's sorta like the G1, huh? Either you love it or you don't.
I fell in love with Lost from the very first episode because it makes you think and that's a rare quality in tv these days.
Heroes had the potential to be one of these shows but sold out. Nothing but product placements and commercial tie ins and it became less about story imo.
All true Losties know the fun of the show comes from trying to figure out where the journey is taking uus and finding the intentional subtle clues the writers and producers leave for us in abundance.

I use to look for the number clues during the first season, but like "unseen" stated.
I got "lost" in the shuffle

Im fairly certain Ben was stearing the island moving it somewhere at one point maybe I misunderstood what was going on but im pretty sure that happened.

He didn't move the island because he didn't like its location he moved it to protect it from the rich bastard who wanted to exploit it for its magical powers. I'm not much of a tv guy, if its not the simpsons, family guy or dexter I could care less. Its been hard to find a good show since the Wire on hbo finished, but lost is by far one of the best shows to ever bless the idiot box?

I'm extremely addicted to Lost. Watched since day 1. A group of my closest friends keep a wiki going with all the information we find relevant.
Also - I'm a dork.

My problem wasn't why he moved the island but that he could move the island at all.

LoL indeed the fact that he moved the island got to u? How about the flying black smoke that chases and kills people? Or when the island cured Rose's cancer, or made Sun pregnant? Or how people don't age..lol moving the island I'm mad they didn't fly it around the earth a few times.

I take it you hated The Matrix too? Because a lot of the symbology and philosophical concepts are really prevalent in Lost if you take the time to read the clues.....

I liked the matrix but it was pretty much just generic cyberpunk. I would rather see a neuromancer movie but thats just me. I don't really have a problem with lost but the moving island was just where i draw the line.

Who said the island "moved"? Maybe thier ability to find the island has been comprimised...
Imo, figuring that stuff out is where it's at.
And btw, The Matrix gets really deep if you look hard enough.

Well this guy here, was just speaking the truth...
The network really needs to find the show a steady home/time slot.

Now, I do agree with you about the time slot. They change it every season!

Blame the American Idol effect for that one.
Have you noticed everytime a new show with some promise comes on they move it to compete with AI and when it gets crushed in the ratings, it must be not popular anymore.
I would almost buy it if it was a fair competition.
It's a popular show, I get it..... how about not having 4 hours of AI on during the week. Jeez.

I gave up on really liking shows ever since they got rid of Jericho.

Yeah... losing Jericho hurt badly.
You do know Halliburton had it cancelled? Seems they were Jennings and Rall.

I love lost, can't wait for the new season.
Yeah and Jericho getting canceled suck, that was one of the best shows out there.
