I've been having some sort of problems like that. I always keeep my phone on edge to save some battery, but i turn to 3g sometimes and having some problems connecting to it. i know i have 3g cus i always had it before. This just happened right after the update.

Same thing is happening to me but I have edge and gprs. I even went to tmobile thinking it was my sim card but that wasn't it and I called CS but even they couldn't figure out what the problem was I think it has something to do with the new update but hey that's just my opinion I could be wrong.

It is just Tmobile's 3G signal that is weak. I live on a full 3G area and I live close to one of their towers and I sometimes lose the 3G connection, but am mainly on full bars. For some reason their cell towers get weak, I use the cell tower finder app and I can see the strength through the app. I called them them up and they said they were doing adjustments to their towers as they expand their 3G service on their network.

I've been having the same problem for a while, but I found that if I put my phone into airplane mode then turn airplane mode off, it reconnects to 3g. Not a permanent fix, I know, but it is a little faster than restarting your phone :p

No, Steel has nothing to do with it. It's happening to me and I've never had that app on my phone.
