We finally have the chance to refresh the site. While the forum refresh is not done yet, AC's blog (frontpage news) has been refreshed.

Let me know what you guys think. We are trying to keep things clean and organized.

I do like it - kind of more modern toward the major blog trends..

I would be lying though if I said that I didn't mind the recent posts being removed..

Keep up the good work guys!

We can't open threads with the G1 browser without a refresh of the page. clicking on a thread gives a "page not found" error.

I'm installing windows now to try on chrome and get it fixed

I'm running jf's modified adp1 holiday (and whatever else it is called) the one that came after rc33 for adp1 and getting the same errors ewdi.

It seems to happen if you click directly on a link but not if you are given the option to pick a page number. ex.
this random thread (1,2,3,last page) would not produce the error but
this random thread (with less then 10 posts) would.

not sure if that'll help at all.

its greatly annoying to need to press refresh on a device while browsing a forum dedicated to device and operating system.....

i'm on rc33 and i constantly get 'page not found' when browsing AC on my phone. a refresh brings up the threads, but it's still kind of a pain.

The problem I'm facing now is i'm unable to find out what is wrong with the 404 error as i can't repdoruce them on computer, iphone, windows mobile phones and others. I can't even reproduce the problem on N810 using Android.

So bare with me on this one guys, thx

its not even really giving a 404 error it just says "page not found" on a blank screen. you can hit refresh to get to the page, however.

I've noticed it doesn't happen on threads with multiple pages. but it will on shorter threads, i.e.

if you have a thread like such

the name of a random thread (1,2,3, last page)
you can click anywhere and it will go fine, but if you have a thread like such

the name of a random thread (2)
if you click on it, it will give you "page not found"

I'm on rc33 and still have the problem. It happened when we went to rc29 too.

I was editing a post today from my G1 and when I went to save it , it brought me to that page not found page. Couldn't refresh it so I tried it again, same thing.

I went back and looked at it on a PC and both my edits showed up however.
I'm also getting the page not found message when viewing threads on my phone but the refresh trick works for that.

I'm on JF's 1.41 RC 33 just so ya know.

Side note : I like the new layout can't wait for the bugs to be worked out, good job.

I really think that the default of the quick little forum browser on the right should be the recently posted or forum tab - not the featured tab... I want to hit the site and be able to see what AC'ers have been saying without having to click.

Also, all of the "Popular" showing up in the forum box on the right side of the front page are from just after the G1 launch or mostly before.. Anyway can these be declassified to make room for the new popular threads or the sticky threads about android future and OS hacking?

Thanks! Keep up the good work

I actually noticed that problem on my desktop computer at work. Some threads I always got 404's on even though they worked for other people.

Is there any way to get a line between the post header information (avatar, name, post stats, etc) and the post itself? I think it looks a little disorganized without it.

My only complaint is with the new font, the bolded threads that I haven't read yet don't stand out from the un-bolded ones very well anymore. Or, maybe it is just that I am getting old and need better glassed.
