Spira Defence - Whats your strategy?

I have 1 chain, 3 pushers, and 1 slower that'll last me through level 70ish. Then sell the chain and make a rapid that that'll get me past level 80.

Does anyone have a strategy?

with one chain and one rapid i'd take those to level 55 and then get a slower and pusher and get up to 65 max. i never tried selling any...

I set mine up like this:

It gets me through level 75 or so depending on power ups and how well I did working the interest rate. I put the pushers and slowers on about lvl 60, from about 17-58 I use a reaper to get about 90 lives.

hmmm... so you dont use chains at all...

No, I don't. However, in order to not lose lives on level 8, I need to use a damage or a range power up.

I have only played the once since I realized you earn interest on your end of level cash and even earn power ups so.. will report new high level once I have had a chance to really try and find the money/power balance.. and utilize the power ups...

Whoever breaks 100 first should post an exact how to if possible - and you MUST provide screenshot for proof if you don;t want us to make fun of you because we're insecure about our Spira Defense scores ;-)

I used only a chain through level 40. I barely survive each level to help build interest.

For levels 41 - 67:
I build 3 pushers and 1 slower, and I upgrade their powers each evenly and gradually. By level 67 they should have about 113 for range

Levels 68 - 72:
Replace a pusher with a Rapid and bring its power up to one upgrade level less than the chain.

Levels 73 - 84:
Replace the chain with a pusher. Bring that pusher up to speed with the other pushers. Then linger for as long as I can.

I have about $7million by level 78 but my rapid cannot keep up with enemie's HP. I usually run out of time and they all rush in.

What I do is I have a rapid for the first 64 levels alone. Save up money using interest and use minimal power ups on your rapid. I've managed to get past level 8 with absolutely no special powers using 150 atk and IV speed with normal range. You'd have to have plenty of bonuses from previous games for that. Anyway, when I reach 64, I usually have saved up over 1million with all the interest. Use atk 29000 with speed 10 and u can get through with no problems. By now, you'll make easilly over 180k with interest, use this level to make 2 pushers and 2 slowers, slowers being on the sides and pushers up and down. Level up their range to after the first 10k upgrade and you wonr have to worry about them closing in on you anymore! Anyway, keep being stingy with powers and money. I use score range and freeze for low levels, money for semi-low med levels, dam and bomb for high levels. To manage upgrades to rapid tower, make siure what u use is less than % interest gained for leveles. The best I've done was level 88 with this stratagy. It really depends on your interest rates. I have the spira pro...this game isseriously addicitve...I can't get past 48 tho...I'm gonna try the chain gold chain tho...I cudnt seem to find see the significance in the gold...it hasn't helped me much...wish me luck

1 Rapid can get you to level 64 with a million dollars to spend.
Then I usually add 2 Pushers (with limited range, so they don't push the creeps too far away), a Slower and another Rapid.
The farthest I've gotten is level 91

I've reached level 100 with a rapid in the centre, 2 pushers and 2 slowers. I reached 250 million cash at one stage, but the upgrades were ridiculously expensive, my last one cost me 150 million or so. the HP increases so much after level 96, I couldn't handle the enemies even after 2 upgrades and using the twice damage bonus. I could only use my saved bombs to get me through.

Some people have got level 106-108...I just dunno how.

the time limit is really annoying because with my 2 slowers and 2 pushers, I could hold out for as long as needs be. i could even use a reaper to gain lives steadily

I've reached level 105. Hit points are about half a trillion and there's 60 or more enemies to get rid of. Upgrades cost 300 million. Quite impossible unless you have a bomb.

Only been able to get to 94 at best using strategies and ideas i have read on here Seems near impossible once past leven 88, even with power ups. Can't ever seem to have enough money to keep up...

I got to level 98 like this:


One rapid, upgrade just your rate and power until the second wave of of white guys that come in from every direction.

Use a range power on the first and second wave of whites

After the second wave of white guys build one gold tower set your rapid and your gold to weak so they are both hitting the same target. The only thing you should upgrade on the gold tower is the range.(why gold?: because you are now getting 150% more $ which means more money for your interest bonus.) This will easily get you to level 75-80 with out any other towers.

If done correctly you will have any where between $1.1million - $2million by level

Sell your gold tower at level 80 replace with an slower upgrade its important factors as needed.

Add pushers and one more slow as you need them.

Gone to lvl 108 im Aleks in the global high scores i think im in 23rd place now.. rapid all the way one slower 2 pusher 1 reaper till 84 then sell reaper for pusher...
