Hey Guys,

Thought i'd make a post to warn everyone away from buying this battery.

The battery does not perform as well as the standard 1150mAh one.

My testing criteria are.

Brightness to 100%
Wifi on
Bluetooth on
Wireless location on
GPS on
Screen timeout: Never

Then I leave the phone on the Status page in settings so that I can see the battery %, I then leave the phone alone and don't touch it at all. I occasionally write down the battery percentage and time.

The first test I did on the standard battery which has had 6 full cycles of charge and drain. The first test on the new battery is when I first got it without it completing any cycles. As you can see the two tests on the standard battery outperform the fommy battery significantly even after the fommy has had a chance to "callibrate" with 4 full cycles. (note one is missed out as I actually had to use the phone one day and used it with the fommy battery so it got another cycle outside of test parameters.

Here is the data

=First test standard battery (after 6 cycles)=

Maybe u should buy the seidio 1400mah and see the results.

Its slightly larger and heavier than the stock 1150mah so I believe its legit.

I've gotten about 6 hours of continuous awake time (after conditioning) on the seidio so I think it gets an extra hour or so of battery life compared to the stock.

What do you think my chances are of getting a refund?

Not that good, I'd say. Though, you might be able to convince them by showing the tests to them? :/

I'd really be interested in having a similar test for the Seidio battery with 1400 mAh. Would anyone having one be so nice and do a test? :)

Bought the Seidio Innocell 1400 battery and have had no problems. Lasts 4 to 5 days with moderate use. When charging it is a cool as a cucumber. n The stock battery was getting hot so called HTC and received a replacement for it. Haven't tried it yet.

I too am interested in a vigorous testing of the Sedio one as well.

I checked out batteries on Ebay, but just couldn't believe that a battery costing $13 that comes with the back cover would do me any good on my MyTouch.
