help with root process

Hey I started the root process. Got to the part where it downgrades to rc29 (upload bar on white screen that takes about 2 minutes). Not sure what went wrong after that. Anyway I rebooted and it took me back to the original startup screen where you have to activate your google account. After several x's of rebooting and trying to install the test keys (following Geo411 post) I just went ahead and signed in and now it's just like it was when I first got my phone. I am on rc29 however so please help what do I do now.

its supposed to do that, and you are supposed to just sign in, just follow the simple steps here, exactly as you see them, and you'll get it done. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442480

Yep, your on the right track. In fact, you'll have to log in that way again once you have the custom firmware on your phone.

Anyway, you're definitely on the right track there.
