3G and Cell Tower Question

Hi, I am in Columbus Ga and I have heard 3G is supposed to be coming this month. 1) When I look at a cell tower is there anyway I can distinguish that it has a 3G antenna on it. Also on a different note 2) Does anyone know if Cell Phone companies share cell towers and just put their own antennas on them?

Your best bet is just to wait until your phone shows "3G."

I didn't know 3G was coming here (Huntsville, AL) until I woke up one day and saw the 3G icon. I used to live in Columbus for around 14 years, went to Columbus High School ;)
