So i just bought my G1 3 days ago and i really want to protect this bad boy so i already bought some cute hard case similar to this one http://www.amazon.com/Google-Dream-Design-Protective-Faceplate/dp/B001N0ITZY/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1239581761&sr=1-17 but in a different color.

Now my question is, does anyone know of a Holster or Case with clip that would fit my non-naked G1. I want one really bad because i can't just carry the phone i need to clip it or something. I was looking at the http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-Innocase-holster-T-Mobile-G1/dp/B001ONVNZ8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1239578767&sr=1-2but from what i was reading, it only works with the Seidio cases. This would have been perfect for me.

As far as I know, the Seidio case and holster combo is your only bet.

I have the case, and really like it! It is VERY thin, but does add protection.

I've used the Seidio holster for my now retired blackberry, and they're great, easy to snap in, easy to take out of the holster.

Sorry I can't give you better advice, but if you can afford it, go for the Seidio combo.

+1 for everything Shel said about the Seidio combination.

I tried a cheapo case, but they are thick, not so attractive, and of so-so quality, so I finally sprung for the Seidio. Seidio is not inexpensive, but the quality is there. You won't be disappointed. I got the Seidio thin case + the holster on ebay from a seller for $40.50 incl shipping (it was a Best Offer Auction). I think he is selling returns, but mine was flawless, and he sells them there regularly. He allows buyers to return items if you aren't a happy camper. That's the best price I have seen.

Do NOT buy any with magnets~!

They tend to cause problems!

I tried for months to find a case that my G1 w/my first cheapo case on it, would fit in. I looked everywhere in all kinds of stores (and I live in a large metro area), and I couldn't find one. The problem was compounded by the fact that I was carefully avoiding cases with magnets (yes, they do screw up the internal magnet). Unfortunately, most cases do have magnets now. Maybe you will be successful in finding a case to fit, but fair warning, don't expect the hunt to be easy.

The Seidio case, BTW, does not have a magnet.
