I doubt anyone will be recieveing it today & maybe not even tomorrow.I've figured the reason they said the "11th" and also said "the end of the week" is because it usually takes two to three days to get to your phone(at least thats what customer care states when you purchase your phone and don't have the newest update),which means sure,it might be "rolling out" today,but we won't see anything for a few days......

Just found out from the forum at T-mobile that the updates are running already and its not going to be later this week...they are running it very random, but it is running today, so there is hope for some here.

Kommie, root that mo'fo and put JF's build on it(or Haykuro's, either one), you won't have to wait. Or at least you'll have a preview until you can grab the official build. Just don't mess with the whole apps to sd thing and you won't have an issue at all.

Meh. As much as I like to mod my things (cars, comps, cells, etc) I am sort of an OEM type of person. I guess that applies to software as well. And as silly as this might sound, I'm very.. very agnostic. I don't want crap called "JesusFreak" or whatever on my phone.

I can wait a few more days ^^

But srsly, if the update is already out, even to one handset, then that one person needs to get the hell on a forum and post the update link.

they didn't "move" anything. they said from the very beginning that it was gonna be the end of the week. problem is, all these junky websites saw "may 11th" and ignored the rest of the sentence when they wrote up their articles.

Come on,.. do you honestly think you're interpreting that correctly? They said 2 things... "the end of next week" and "the week of". Clearly,.. the "end" of the week is still "the week of" so those statements don't in any way contradict each other.

The junky sites I was referring to were the ones who *read T-Mobiles* announcement and ignored the end of the week part. Heck, even this very site got it right in reporting the end of the week. I don't understand why a lot of you got a different impression. :confused:

WOW! Thought I misread this statement, but I guess I didn't. Just an FYI, The JF Updater will not let you know when an update (Official OTA) is available....And as for JF releasing another update when the official OTA comes out. There's no need for that. His current 1.5 release is the official release...

Pre-ordering and being with t-mob 7yrs doesn't give you front of the line priviledges. I know. I have been with VoiceStream since it was VoiceStream. Wayyy too many years ago. But I also used to be a big Sidekick junkie, I used to Dev for Danger when the SK came out and still didn't get the latest OTA's that much sooner than the public roll out...

Back on topic for a second. I am running a rooted G1, with the last (but apparently NOT the latest) JF build. I have the JF updater, and it worked great the last time I updated the build, but I guess it's not going to work this time??? It seems that there are an awful people running the 1.5 version, but I am still on RC33, kila-user 1.1, kernel 2.6.25-01843-gfea26b0. So, do I need to follow the manual procedure to update this time, or has he just not gotten around to having the JF updater do the whole thing automatically? Or am I just doing it wrong?

I think Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off came out before "teen movies" were teen movies. I don't really file either of them into the "teen movie" category. And for the record, YES I would still say that if I wasn't just trying to save face for not having included either of those films after neglecting to mention them even after having modified my post to include another. Yep, yep!
