Memory card / File system access

Hi all

I want to list folder and file available in a memory card / phone memory
I thinking to get this information is using Content Providers.

I have written some example to access contact details

Now I want to list all the folder and files from memory card or phone memory

How can I do this using Android API's

If I have to use Content Providers then what is the RUI path for the same

Can any one help me
