Phonebook is a new Address Book. It comes with a new user interface, a landscape view, a unified communication inbox (calls and sms) and statistics.

I believe this is a trial beta version in which the devs created for android users to get the feel for their new app and test it out before they release

Phonebook 2.0 in which they won the Android Developers Challenger last year and will be a paid app with much more capabilities and features

So look out for it :]]

Checked out the pdf, seems interesting. I may try it out. Wasn't there another app with this concept out a while back?

yea to set as default simple press the talk button on the g1 it will ask u which app to use for thi function. only two more things i would want from this app

1) when set as default have the option of the dialer be the default screen that open and not the activity one

2) just include that send to voicemail option like in the default android dialer

To make default simply push the talk button and when prompted which program to use check Phonebook, and BAM your all done and up and running.

I Have s little question!

Will this app replace the original Phonbook or will the both work together? So when i change a Phonenumber in the 2.0 will it also change in the Original Phonebook?
