The only thing that's killing me on this purchase is the price of these protectors.
But it's for my baby, plus it's gonna get heavy use with Cupcake on the horizon.
Looks like I'm gonna have to shell out 10 for some nice screen protectors.

I highly doubt finger nails can scratch that kind of screen.
Maybe your face, sure. But the screen no.

yea , i held off on buying them also for that reason . also because i thought they were all thick and weird on the feeling of the screen . i was wrong . they probably cost pennies to make but ..... i'm glad i made the purchase . and , yea , you will be rockin' out to cupcake ! i have been using cupcake (jf adp1.5) for a bit now , i cant put my damned phone down !

Hey Genius -
I used those screen protectors...i feel they work great and offer good protection with out compromising the screen ...they even have a lil anti glare effect when on the screen...and they are a perfect fit. They are a must have! BTW i appreciate your posts in the past...your always very helpful

Thanks for the tip. I asked when I bought my phone and the chik looked at me like I had a third eye.
I've been looking for the OEM screen prtectors. T-Mo had them the whole time.

The first time I saw them in a tmobile store was about a month ago .....
Maybe they are new ? Take that "protector" off your phone , your phone will thank you . That protector that came with the phone isn't a real protector . Oh well , I guess if it does the trick .... I would be embarressed to leave it on :)

I got the one in the T-Mobile store. The one that fits all. It is a little thick, but at least I'm confident that it won't scratch.. even against keys and stuff.

I'll try to buy some this weekend because the screen protector that came with the phone is getting to it's limit of use.
There are some scratches I'm not happy with and I'd be really pissed if there was a scratch on this lovely screen.

I bought a 2 pack at a T-mobile store last week. These are great protectors that are custom fit for the G1! Please see my review of this protector in this forum.
