I think we can all live without recapping the large (http://www.tmonews.com/2009/04/android-15-cupcake-update-already-out/) number of cupcake rumors/delays (http://www.tmonews.com/2009/05/oy-cupcake-gets-pushed-back/) and more rumors. With that in mind and judging by emails coming into my inbox and this report from Engadgetmobile (http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/05/22/t-mobile-usa-starts-pushing-android-1-5-to-g1-owners/) we’re starting to see users FINALLY getting their cupcake fill. T-mobile is still allowing for early June (http://www.tmonews.com/2009/05/oy-cupcake-gets-pushed-back/) for all G1 users to receive their upgrade so if you don’t get it within the next 7 minutes, don’t huff and puff and blow the house down! Patience young padawans, patience! Sound off in the comments if you are already graced with your cupcake!

except that once again trash sites are jumping to be the first with "news" that actually isnt true, and they'd easily realize that if they took a second to research. this is the same reason everyone thought the update was coming at the beginning of last week, as opposed to the end of it.

most of the update claims today are people getting a patch to the UK version that they installed earlier in the week.

My phone started force closing today when in the diakler so I called TMO and was told that the uodate was started today. Not saying it is true, just what I was told.

I'm not shooting the messenger here, but this is like the 3rd date I heard per a T-Mobile rep. Those guys don't know anything.

It really is true that the T MO reps don't know anything about the upcoming updates unless their really interested and look it up...

But it is quite funny on how many cupcake rumours we heard before it finally came through..
