BeSt case I've come across.

So, i have been in the market for a new case for my G1 for a while now. I have used best skin ever, i have the clear case, stock case, i have also had a few screen protectors. I was really interested in the Seidio case but didnt very much feel like spending $30. ( im a broke college student =D) so any way i was looking on amazon and found this highly rated case from Vizu. I ordered it monday and got it today and its great. I couldnt be happier. It covers most of the phone but the best part is the screen protector is built in. as soon as you click on the top peice the screen protector is put in place as well. The whole case has a rubbery texture to it similar to the back of the G1 so it feels nice and doesnt add as much balk to the phone as the clear case. EDIT: forgot to mention, as u can see in the pics the usb cap on the bottom of the phone is EASILY accessible, unlike the tmobile clear case you can easily pop the cap on and off =D Also as u can see below it does not come with a belt clip/holster..

I used these kind of cases for a while till I realized that it only makes your phone so much more bulkier and does not provide any protection to your screen at all. The only protection it provides is Slightly and to the Body of the phone that itself is pretty sturdy.

For the past 2 months Ive been using my phone Naked with a screen protector and I keep it inside my pocket with the screen facing inward just incase I bump into something while walking the busy streets. After doing this ive grown to appreciate the great Design of the G1,minus the bulk these cases seem to add.

Ok, my girlfriend has the camera ill upload them in about 30 min. sorry for the wait.

oh and i tried the naked thing for a bit but its just not smart to leave a $400 device exposed like that, you never know what can happen. and facing screen inward is no guarantee it wont crash if you knock into something. A small case that provides some shock absorption is your safest bet.

Werd, I hear you I guess im with Dayum, Ive had this phone since October and it still looks like its out the box SO much quicker and Smoother when its Naked. 400 bucks is alot of money tough, good thing i got insurance.

Do you have to use their screen protector? I've used an invisishield on my screen so I wouldnt need it. Ive been looking for something like this.

I have to have my phone in something. Using the lame sleeve that came with it. Over time the rubbery matte finish on the phone will turn a light shade of brown from dust. I had the Dash and the back of that was the same material used on the g1.

This would be nice for when I set the phone down on a non smooth surface so it wont get dirty or scuff up the phone. So far I've only dropped my phone once, trying to hit snooze on the alarm half asleep :-/

Cant complain about $5 either.

The body glove definitely bulks up the phone. Good for anyone who is semi careless or have kids that will surely try to bang around your phone. The belt clip is crap tho. It keeps slipping or popping out.

I have a belt clip and 3 cases. (glossy black, rubber white, and transparent clear).

The belt clip works very well. No slipping or popping out. But I had to get a new one because my little nephew grabbed and pulled at my phone and broke the clip.

I remember when I first got the G1 I thought it was bulky, and it is, but man does that glove make it a brick. I peeled off all the skin I had on it except for the screen. No real need to protect the other stuff as far as I am concerned.

Ultimately I put the glove back on. Use the belt clip now and then but the main thing I use is the kickstand. I love setting the thing on top of my monitor at work and streaming Fox News. I get 3G signal at work and cannot use their Internet to stream, so it works out well. I have actually tried it without the stand and the sound wasn't loud enough laying down (even with speaker side up). Sound would probably be fine now with sound hack installed, though.
