View Full Version : i7500 vs magic vs bigfoot

what phone do you think will be better?? I am really leaning towards the i7500 but the magic is coming out sooner ( i think ) and bigfoot has the advantage of the physical keyboard (and stereo speaker, how cool is that?). although coming from an iphone the light sensor on the i7500 is really welcomed.

just wondering, what phone do you think is better?:confused:

I personally dont see what everyone else sees in the i7500 i would rather have the bigfoot

well, the i7500 has the bigger screen of the three, right? and it also has the light sensor as well as 8 gigs of memory.

but i dont like that it doesnt have a keyboard and the dpad is too big and ugly

true, but the g1 was ugly as heck... i really don't care about a keyboard. but i wanted to know which one of the three is faster, or better, with more features or whatever... i kind of want to compare all three to purchase either one of them

and is the hero ever gonna be released? i dont like how it looks but i like that it rotates 180 degrees or maybe 360

I'd go for the i7500, as it seems to be a generation 2 phone, just depends if it works on the Canadian 3G frequencies.

Well, in my humble opinion, I feel that the i7500 has better specs, in reference to the 3.2in AMOLED screen, the 8 gigs of internal memory, the 3.5mm head jack, and the accelerometer that can shift the screen in multiple directions. However, it's RAM does seem to be on the low side, at 128 megabytes the last time I checked... Also, the lack of a keyboard may eventually cause a number of apps to not work, or at least, to be more difficult to operate. Anyhow, the i7500 is the Android phone that I'm excited for at the moment.

i wonder how google and android are gonna tackle the real keyboard/virtual keyboard thing in terms of apps.

in my head i picture a market that has a tab for each phone or phones with similar specs (g1 and g1v.2 in one tab, magic and i7500 in another) and google does it magic to catalog each kinda like the apps tab thats categorized by communication etc etc. (but pertaining to phone specs)

I7500 for sure. I don't want a physical keyboard. The AMOLED-screen looks awesome, 8GB internal memory and 3,5mm earjack. Man, when are they gonna release it. ;)

im thinking to get the magic(mytouch) until i see the I7500 in person and get to play around with it. Wish it had a tracball then it would be the ultimate phone except does it really have 128 of ram? how much do the others have? is this a bad thing?

Bigfoot is the only one of the three I'm interested in. I won't give up my physical keyboard... at least not without a 4.5" screen. And probably not then either.

Aside from terminal, I haven't used my physical keyboard in two months. I've gotten pretty good with the VK, very few mistypes and the autocorrect is very good.

i7500 has the best specs and looks, but if it truly only has 128 megs of RAM, then thats a deal breaker. The g1 with 192megs is already not enough.

dang seriously? so it has the less ram of all three phones? that sucks... why can't there be a "perfect" phone... isn't there a way to upgrade the ram on a phone?

i really want the i7500.... but i can't wait till november lol... my iphone 2g is getting kind of old... i also don't want to upgrade my plan with t-mo just to upgrade it again in november... can i even do that? if i can i'll do that lol

there's a magic for t-mobile coming out believed to have 5 megapixel camera as well.. the maroon one..

i like a more industrial design. keep the chrome and glossy black away, imo.

I want High qual camm and cam flashh - i vote sammi
dont care about hard keyabord. i like the soft keyabord

and although i use bluetooth headphones.. i like the jack for when i need to phono output to a stereo or a friends car aux

haha we're on the same page!!! im digging the phone i mean its ugly but i dont know why i liked it, i think out of all of them that one is gonna have the best specs!

Looking forward to the hero as well. We all know how sluggish rosie runs on the g1 even with all the tweaks, so if its going to run at any kind of acceptable performance, hero is going to have to bump up its cpu and RAM specs.
