myTouch cases, accessories..slim pickins

Not much in the way of cases for the Magic/myTouch so far.

I've found one company that carries a nice leather case (http://www.noreveusa.com/product/HTC_Magic_Tradition_C_leather_case.html), and another that carries one of those rubber condom thingies....

Leather case/pouch looks NICE, but man! $45!

Anyone have experience with these???

I generally like a case that doesn't increase the size of the phone by much, keeping the phone in my front pocket.

Has anyone found any other cases for either the Magic or myTouch?

if you dont like bulky cases have you tried something like invisible shields or phantom skinz

i have a phantom skinz on my g1 and i like it, i mean i dont think its the same material as the zagg ones cuz i managed to scuff it but i like that it doesnt have all that orange peel like the zaggs do. i have had it on the phone like half a year and its holding up just fine, the corners are starting to lift slightly but i dont mind it

I put Invisible Shields on the screen of my G1, but I don't want to cover my entire phone with a skin. Just not what I really want.

Besides, the IS on my screen gets covered with dust almost instantly. I could imagine the entire device covered with lint and dust...

I don't like adding more bulk to my phone...and for a while I kept those protectors on my screen but meh, one day I decided to take it off (since I've always been gentle with my electronics) and it's been about 3 months, not one scratch :)

why do people wanna add bulk to an already bulky phone? :)

haha thats why i use the phantom skinz on my phone dr.v i couldnt imagine having one of those bulky hard case on my phone

I actually prefer a thicker phone, I used to have an iphone 3g and I couldnt use it without a case, it was too thin for my likings, with my g1 now its the perfect width

those diamond cases look good but i just wish there was no diamond pattern.

has anyone found any good cases for this phone. time is running out, i like seidio but they dont have one for the magic yet.

Found what's called a Soft, Crystal Gel case for the Magic on eBay.

Supposedly made of resin, so that it doesn't attract lint, dust, etc.

Read a review of this same case for the Nokia N97 (I believe it was that phone), and the guy LOVED IT. Said he had purchased 3 other soft cases, and that this one fit very tightly, added minimum to the overall size, and didn't get dirty with lint, dust, etc. and was his favorite of the four.

Look on eBay, the buyer is DC Muggen. He has a LOT of very positive reviews.

What's great it, it was selling for $4.99 (now seems to have gone up to $5.99) with FREE shipping, and he includes a screen protector! Not a bad deal. For five bucks, I figured I'd take a chance, and use it until something better comes along!

Not $45.00. From what I see $19.99. But yeah the pattern is kinda whack.

I just use the protector that came with the phone. I use a case to keep it on my belt. But otherwise i couldn't imagine having a gel or something on my phone. It's bulky enough. As long as the screen stays scratchless I'm ok. The back and fronts of the phone are easily replaceble by getting parts off ebay.
