Hello everyone i took my mind out of android and worked on a Palm Pre Theme for Cyanogen 3.6.5 which is fast like damn fast :) I'm still working on this theme so there is more to come. Hope everyone likes it If you are running (Cyanogen 3.6.5) if not downgrade..!!

actually no, i believe the devs that make these "copy" themes are to show all the other OS what our OS is capable of doing such as mimicing their exact OS.

How is the theme...... your opinion? I cannot get the template to install correctly. It is giving me radio issues...force closes. Before I go to the trouble of installing the full version I want to make sure it is worth it.

I'm running pre theme right now... I was on Hero theme... this is my take

Pros:
-"See through" Status bar drop down
(I love this eye candy)
-App toggle is completely clear
(More eyecandy... yay!)
-Uses HTC Music app
-Running off Cyan's 3.6.5
(really fast and optimized)

Cons:
App Screen white words and light grey background
(almost hides words, not very visible... looks ok on screenshot
but not when in use with phone)
Uses Original Templates for Google search widget
Uses Original Template for Music widget
Uses Original Template for Clock Widget
Dialer is same as Original Android Dialer

Conclusion:
Its a great theme... I'm waiting for more development... I love the clarity...
I think it would be great to carry on that theme...

Suggestions:
I would love to see a clear menu button Pop-up, the status bar at the top clear as well. Change out the Google Search widget to something less cumbersome... example: From open home: Ghost Black
(I really like this version because it doesn't hide the background)

Please Update the Music widget and clock widget too if you can. Would make thing looks great. I'm really looking forward to development of this theme... I think it looks great. Thank you developer.


*Sidenote: I choose this over hero theme only because... I tend to not be like the masses... So I like things that are different hence I have a G1... ^^

I just flashed this theme..

It's not that bad as it is.. It can only get better

I always leave the Hero theme to try out other themes

The app tray is Nice!!!! (Minus the font being hard to read, but that doesn't bother me)

Cyan just released 3.6.7.2 today... and now the pre theme has been made to work with it already.
I tried Hero theme... really love it... and Pre theme is great to just wish it had better widgets... but I'll give up widgets for cyan like performance any day... I tried official hero rom on g1 and I was exited by it... but coming from cyan... its like getting claim-jumper chocolate mother-load cake for dessert everyday... then switching to twinkies... it's not the same...

looks nice. ive tried the pre its pretty cool cousin has it, tried the BBerry tour, wow its fast my brother has it

still tho... no comparison to our rooted optimized G1

Right now, I'm using the "Oreo" theme and it goes very nice with the Beautiful Widgets from the market.

I've using the Palm Pre since he released v1.1 (because it's way different then whats been done already with any other Theme)

I'd wish he fix the Boot Screen (bring it back) to the costume screen he used in the first two.
