I read that new Android Kit was announced today by ZiiLabs. The kit costs whooping 399 bucks but it includes quite a shiny piece of hardware called Zii Egg (http://www.zii.com) - if i follow the specs correctly it has a multicore ARM processor together with 512 RAM and the combo is capable of processing OpenGL graphics, HD video and running Android as shown on the video here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ6It6z05rg)
There is also a cheaper version: hardware only. Do you think it will be possible to download SDK from somewhere?

not even sure what plasma is, but the android sdk you can get from google for free. the site says that it's all open source, if that's the case i would assume you could also get the plasma sdk for free. unless it's some other kind of opensource?

yeah, I am not sure if android runs on top of that plaszma OS or can it run instead of it - it that case I would try to only get the hardware and download SDK free, but will it work... (?)
