iPhone just as "skinnable"/customisable?

Thats for jailbroken iPhones with WinterBoard installed from Cydia only.
It'd be great if Apple allowed themes on the phone, but thats just Apple being Apple.

Don't slack on iPhone customization, they have a lot of neat stuff out there which I've used back before I got the G1.

They are trying to outlaw jailbreaking which imo Is just silly.

i was relying on the one cool thing we did better than the iPhone - be open and customisable.

And now it appears that with a simple jailbreak, they can unlock they're iPhone to as flexible an OS as ours. Using much better hardware..

Well, I pretty much have made the best looking Hero theme in that thread and would just like to say that my theme will never be close to being as good as the real hero. For example, I love the way the wallpaper scrolls from page to page on the hero which is something that I can't achieve with winterboard, and I can't move my clock widget to any page I want. The main reason I'm making this skin is because I love the android os and will most likely upgrade to a android phone next year. Not sure which though.
