Is this plan the old T-Zones plan, just under a different name?

I wonder why they would charge only $9.99 for this web, but $24.99 for smartphones? :confused:
Is anyone able to use this data plan, or T-Zones successfully on the G1 with all apps properly working? I've read a few threads where T-Zones only worked for the browser (don't know if it still does).
Also, do you need a working data plan to use Visual Voice Mail?
Please do not respond if you are only going to flame about "stealing." I am just curious (I don't have T-Zones anyways).
