Extracting theme from a ROM? [Archive]

I downloaded a cyan rom that came bundled with a theme a few days ago and installed it. I just flashed a cyan update and the theme is gone. The theme has been taken down but I still have the .zip file. Can I extract the theme ONLY and flash it? I've looked around the zip file but haven't found anything that looks like just the theme.

They will probably have the theme wrapped with the rom shortly. You could have lots of problems trying to extract the theme. What theme is it you want? If it's Dark Hero I got a tweet, he will be out of pocket for a couple of weeks.

Aww I was hoping it was possible. Its actually the
Palm Pre theme...

Yeah I read about that, It's still on the net and being hosted as a ROM+Theme. I just need the theme only heh. Thanks.

if u extract it your gonna have to sign the zip yourself and place every file in the correct place

its not like its a folder in the rom that says "pre theme parts here" so its not as easy as u think
