Probably a stupid question just looking for help

I am a new G1 owner,,, Not sure if I like it or not. I am get alot of picture /animated text messages which is followed by a text from tmobile telling me in order to see the message I have to go to their site. Is there an application that I can download to see the message with out going through tmobiles site?

Sometimes, you have to "activate" mms messaging on your device. Send a couple of picture messages to yourself and see if that helps. Otherwise, you make have to give T-Mobile a call.

Of course, this is assuming you have a data plan...
