Anyone else have an upgrade Price

When i log into myTmobile i have the upgrade price for a new phone but i am still under contract for another year plus, anyone else have this option? Are they giving all G1 users the new upgrade price?

not true . i download frequently . i frequently receive phone calls while actively downloading . even keeps downloading while im still talking on the phone . also when im surfing online . i get bugged by phone calls all the time while surfing on this site .

I have a year and 1 month and MT3G was $400.00, G1 was $350.00. Don't think I'm getting a very good upgrade price.

I wish...when I log in, I see the 399.99 price for the MyTouch. I even called tmobile and pretty much begged for an upgrade. I have 4 lines on my account and pay about 140.00 for the past 10+ years. They wont do squat for me...my soonest upgrade is my wifes phone and thats 4 months away.

I called a few days ago and the girl was hurt because all 4 of us on the account are currently using iPhones (and they can see this I guess...because she called me out on them). I told her that the G1 is just too big for my personal preference and that I would be happy to pay now for 2 new MyTouch's if she would give me the upgrade price...but she said there is nothing she could do. I know I could go to the "loyalty" (cancelation) department and get my way most likely...but its just a bummer to me that I should have to go that far.

Sorry ill update my quote, this is only when not on 3G, if your not on 3G you wont get calls

Well I thought I was in the same boat as you because when I checked my account my upgrade prices were as follows:
T-mobile G1 = $359.99
MT3G = $399.99
And I have over a year left I upgraded when the G1 came out which was October of 2008.
I'm on a family plan so I said let me check my other line which I upgraded in Feb of 2009 and my upgrade prices are as follows:
T-mobile G1 = $129.99
MT3G = $199.99
WIERD!! :confused:
I might just upgrade my wife's line and sell the phone! :eek: (get my money back and then some)

Thats an EDGE/2G or less limitation, thats one reason to have 3G. If you stay on Wifi you'll be good.

yea I checked mine and I have the upgrade price but I have to extend my contract. Im thinking about getting the mt3g though. I did have the g1 but got frusterated with it and steered away from the android community
