I have no sources. I have nothing but speculation, but I used to work for Sprint.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that I bet Donut will come out when the InstinctQ comes out.

I'm sure it will be preloaded on the InstinctQ and we will get OTAs slowly after it's release. After working in the cell business for a while, I'm just speculating.

I also believe that the Instinctq won't see a launch until about late September, early November. Typically Sprint hypes up smart devices weeks or months before their release and Sprint has been pretty hush about this.

Opinions?

ok obligatory i already have parts of donut on my phone out of the way first ;)

I think it will come out when it's ready.
however if they do tie it into a device release then sept. 10th will be a likely day as that is when motorola is announcing their first android device.

what carrier that will be providing that phone though i am not sure about.

I'm pretty sure the Verizon Sholes is going to be the flag launched of 2.0 [which I guess isn't necessarily cupcake...But 1.5 < 2.0
anyway.

That's what I'm thinking.

All sorts of people have "parts of cupcake" on their phone between here, XDA, and other forums, it's not too hard. Typically a handset announcement and it's release date are months apart, so I doubt that will have any bearing.

Just saying.... I would bet money that cupcake comes out the same day as the next android handset release or maybe the handset after that.
