I just rebooted my phone (t mobile g1) and now any application that uses the camera (even the built-in camera app) instantly forecloses when it attempts to even get a feed from the camera. I have tried rebooting and ending processes with taskiller (i would use dev tools as well but I dont really know what all of those things are and dont want to end something important) but nothing works.
how do I fix this?
also, I'm running cyanogen 4.04

Did you install a theme? Flash the default Cyanogen 4.0.4 theme template (found on rom thread, main post) and the camera should start working again. I'm assuming its theme related. 4.0.4 does not have any known camera issues otherwise.

You may need to wipe and reflash your rom. Hopefully you already have Cyan 1.4 recovery, makes it alot easier. You can download Astro file manager and backup all your apps. It won't backup your paid or private apps, they are attached to your google account and you will be able to redownload them.

I dad a similiar problem when i will press the trackball to stop recording it will prompt me with a f/c, so i then Flash 4.04 again, and its working fine now. I had the Xrom manup theme installed when F/C was appearing.
