any idea?Why do that when you can make it easier on yourself by downloading the MX Media Player app & ALL the associated codec packs instead?

This way you can keep them the way they are or convert them to a number of formats INCLUDING 3GP ??

MX Media Player isn't the only one on the Market either. Poke around on there & you'll see ;D
