Hey guys, i have a great question about the g1. Is there a way/program, that i could block incoming texts thru my phone?

For instance, i know you could block incoming calls if you edit thru contacts, but my problem is i need to stop incoming instant messaging as a text, as directly to my number as a regular text thru my phone, but i have no luck doing this. Any answers please? thank you!

you wanna stop texts all together

I need to stop incoming text from an indivdual person, but the person is texting me thru yahoo i.m., but when it comes thru my phone, instead of my screen name pops up, it comes as a text, understand a little better?

most of the messaging apps like handcent and chomp have a blacklist option so you might want to try that out to see if that works

sign in to yahoo messenger on your pc, and mark that username as spam. that is if you NEVER want to hear from them again.
