This might be an odd question - but so?

Most phones in the UK are "free" on contract - i.e. the G1 is free on a £30pm contract (although the next one up is better by a long way).

Loving the android logo on the back of the phone, though!

I was going to post about this but I didn't snce my Open Watch post had apparently already been posted lol, but C'mon Veronica add some photos and copy some texts just don't throw a link there!

Anywho I agree it's a neat phone, it said its running some of the Sense UI which I'm not too clear how that works unless its not a "With Google" branded device which I thought it was.

But I've been talking with the devs of Panda hom and have been suggesting a new Home app since they're looking into making a new free app.
And I suggested this 9 screen pannel which wold be cool
And also suggested a small little 3 screen with the app draer only on the far left screen on the side not the bottom.

Haven't had a word back on it yet but the dev has liked my ideas.

do you think the htc tattoo is coming to tmobile? i really want it htc sense looks nice and its small i really hope like att doesnt get it they have the iphone already.

Looks like HTC made a great job on adapting Sense UI to the smaller Tattoo screen. :D

i dont see how a capacitive screen can work with an on screen keyboard


i mean it can work but i feel like it would be slower or not as accurate

Anyone else read how Apps are made to fit the g1 and Magic's screen and these wider screens aren't very much a smooth idea yet?

It's up in the air.
Like I said about apps fitting the screen.
And the specs and processors, its interesting and all.
But if I'm forced to use a on screen keyboard I'd like a solid landscape QWERY for it at least.

I'll pass on it too, sense ui is good but to me this or any other phone is not an upgrade to the G1, I can't wait for the 1GHZ processors though, uma be all over those lol.

If I had to take a stab, I would say that they went with resistive because typing on a 2.8 capacitive screen would have been a nightmare. At least with it being resistive you can peck with a fingernail or use a stylus.

That, and the fact that resistive is cheaper, and this is supposed to be HTC's "budget" Android device.
