Make sure you do a wipe, wipe the ext and swap partitions, also raise you swap partition to atleast 96mb, I recommend you raise it to 160. Also you may want to skim through the jacxhero thread, theres info on how to make it perform even better although its really fast as is.

That will be sweet with BFS since i have been reading, from other users that hero is kinda slow!
i just finished installing hero, after a couple of errors of E: cant chown/mod /system/xbin i had assumed that i had the latest SPL since i have the latest radio.
another question if you don't mind, in your opinion which is your favorite HERO rom and how do i increase SWAP? Thank you

JACxHERO 1.7 r2 is my favorite. None of these new Hero's are slow, I think people are going off their experiences with the old Hero roms or hearsay, but you do need to modify the cpu setting because for some reason the min setting is 128. If you remembered how you setup your 3 partitions in cyan's recovery just make the last one bigger, there should be free space at the end of your card.

It seems to be running pretty good so far, its not exaggerated slow as some people say, and i love all the extra features it has, nice layout.
So for the CPU setting do i use OVERCLOCK widget?
I dont think here is any more free space so i will have to redo the partions no problem. Thank you

Told you it was fast lol, others might wanna give it a try instead of listening to people that says its slow because it was extremely slow in the begining but those days are over lol.

Overclock widget and swapper would be easier, but modifying the user.conf file is more fun and it will eliminate the need for overclock widget, swapper and if you modify it Hero will run way faster because compcache is used by default and its too slow for Hero.
