the built in browser is SLOOOOOWWWW, i thought opera mini and steel are faster, but the UI, especially for opera, sucks. they are hard to use. i would like a browser that is as usable as the built in, but no so SLOOOOOWWWW.

Opera Mini is very fast and easy. If you're confused the most you have to do is press menu its very simple.
None of the browsers are slow they're all fine.
Sounds like you have a connection problem not a browser problem.

yeah i'd guess it's your connection as well. do you have other things running that require the data connection at the same time (streaming music, widgits, etc)?

Opera Mini 5 is coming "soon" - maybe that will fix some of the UI issues. Generally, I find Opera Mini to be pretty awesome. I wish I could paste copied text into the URL box, though. Another addition I hope is added is the ability to "share" a page via Gmail, Twidroid, etc.

Edit: Opera Mini 5 beta just released: http://www.opera.com/mini/next/
