Haven't had this problem. I will open the site and run antivirus when I get a chance and see if I get the same.

It is not the site, the OP has a trojan, PAV I think is the culprit. Check out this site, if the virus will let you, for a remedy:

and i surf the web like a mad man, it never happens on any other site except this one. even when i was in class last semester using a different PC.

That's spyware. Use AdAware and Spybot S&D to remove whatever it is that's running.

Also, using Firefox will be better in the long run for safer/better browsing (also I'd die without extensions like AdBlock, Firebug, and Webdev toolbar). Chrome is rather nice when the latest dev branch is released :)
