How to disable SMS

I recently installed Handcent but everytime I get a text message, I would get 2, one for the handcent and one for the Native SMS that cam with the G1, is there a way to disable the Native SMS so I would only be able to recieve 1 message instead of double ?

Just go to the stock messaging app and go through the menu to find the settings then disable notifications.

Hi everyone...so maybe I'm having a black moment, but I don't see a disable option on my Incredible. Anyone know if 2.1 had a different way of accomplishing this?
