Hello to all, I could use some help and i've been trying this for the past 4 hrs. I had a issue after installing a new theme and needed to re-install jf 1.51. I did a wipe then install of it. That went off fine without a hitch, now im at the doing apps2sd process and having problems.

I did the: su
mkdir /system/sd/app. It informed me that that already existed. Ok understood since I had it before my wipe and install. When I did mount data to try the next step, it said failed, are you sure your rooted?
I decided to skip past that and went to the step of:
su
cp /sdcard/init.rc /data/
cp /sdcard/a2sd.sh /data/ and it started to bootloop

It finally went past the android screen after umteenth time*dont even know if thats a word* and mem shows avail 1037mb avail, so Im guessing it worked but now, if I install a app, it downloads but while installing, the phone ends up restarting and app isn't installed. ANY help with this would be greatly appreciated.

oooo , its time that you upgraded your rom ! jf1.51 is ancient android history . try a cyanogen rom . if you like jf , you will love cyan . plus it does apps2sd automatically if your sd card is partitioned . much easier than the old way of apps2sd . plus app2sd is very stable on cyans roms , almost like they are supposed to be on your sd :)

I was thinking about that but knowing I had apps2sd once, is there any files on the ext part that need to be erased? I alredy done a wipe and lost everything so switching wouldnt be a issue
