I deleted everything off my SD card and want to re-transfer my music, but it still has the same space as if I had my music on there.

Do I have to re-partion? And will this erase all my stuff?

Sounds like you should just re-partition and yes everything will be erased it will be like you are starting completely fresh so just make sure everything you want is backed up

What? Check for a folder on your SD Card named ".Trash-1000" first, they might be in there in the "files" directory. Delete them here too.

I'd use the card in my daughter's brand new cell phone, which has a micro SD slot so she can take all the pictures she wants.
