Can I use medical programs on Android platform?

I am interested in buying an Android PDA but I was wondering if there any medical program that works on it ?

A Google search will turn up sparse results. But there is one company out there. My girlfriend is a tenure-track professor of pediatric nursing, and she found one company with a decent set of apps that aren't priced too bad.
