Sprint Hero releasing October 7th????

On the Inside Sprint Now website, they have posted that the HERO is launching on October 7th, not October 11th. Anyone else heard about a change to the release date?

I was at BestBuy last week and placed a pre-order for the Hero, and they told me the 8th of October. So maybe the 7th is correct, I am really looking forward to it.

i don't see the problem ppl have with sprint



they provide a service - very similar to vzw's in my locale (that's all i can comment on because that's my experience [edit: see here (http://www.pcworld.com/article/167391/a_day_in_the_life_of_3g.html) - and chart (http://www.pcworld.com/zoom?id=167391&page=1&zoomIdx=1)]) - and at a great monthly rate, better than the competition (although i admit t-mo is getting to the same price point)

its not that i have anything against it (although i've always had t-mobile, and they have provided excellent customer service along with its service), just saying your switching mobile carriers when its only 528 MHz and 1GHz is only a few months away.
