I get the feeling that the Android platform suffers from horrible out-of-date hardware. I mean, it's supposed to be a competitor to the iPhone, right? yet the iPhone 3GS has the following specs: (from wikipedia)

ARM Cortex-A8
833 MHz underclocked to 600 MHz
PowerVR SGX GPU

look at that. Seriously, isnt there an android phone that can match up to that? (preferably with a replaceable battery and a keyboard :P )

The iphone OS needs all the cpu it can get to run, android on the other hand is lite but powerful at the same time and it can multi task for real unlike the Iphone OS.

Bloted is what im saying

Although right now I am pissed at Google and Android, I hate Apple even more and with that being said the answer is NO, there is no current Android that is on the market or will be by the end of this year (unless the 1GHZ snapdragons are released) that is as powerful or as smooth as the Iphone, cyan made Android as fast as the Iphone if not faster but now his roms will have to be stripped of all Google apps.
