Hi All,

First off, thanks for the awesome support this forum has given me while I lurk around.

I downgraded from Cyanogen 4.1.11.1 to 4.0.4. For some reason, my home key does not work and the screen no longer locks. Any ideas?

Thanks!

lol .
have you tried wiping ? you know you downgraded from andriod os 1.6 to 1.5 ? youre bound to run into some problems . try wiping then reapplying the update(rom) , that should take care of the issues .

Same thing happened to me so I wiped and it was all good. I was just worried Id lose all of my save data for like Jewellust if I wiped so I installed Backup for Root Users, backed everything up, wiped, reapplied update, fixed permissions (just in case), and then just rebooted and restored my backup, and now everything works perfect.

Thanks! I figured I did something wrong. I'll give it a go as soon as I get home and report back.

Last update. The downgrade worked for the button issue, but, then my Market app and Browser app FC'd every time I launched them. So, in the end, I landed back on 4.1.11.1 and it's working great.

All that, and I saw Cyanogen say in his Twitter today, that he had a present for everyone this weekend. Sounds like I may be changing again. :)

Thanks again for the help.
