Excited about the Motorola Cliq?

Nope. I've had the G1 since release, and this phone isn't enough to make me change - especially since my phone is rooted.

Plus, I hate the fact that the d-pad is on the left side of the phone. That bothers me for some reason.

Idk the processor is about the same as the g1.
And I'm not 16 anymore so I can't say I really care about having social media down my throat 24/7.
I'm just a solitaire geek now. C'mon Odroid you ugly beast.

I believe the name of the phoen speaks for itself....its made for all those young teens who are all about social networking on the go...hence the name cliq...its technical features however do seem to be somewhat on par with the G1....I personally just that the Cliq has a 5MP camera. I'm pretty sure motoblur will be available in some form on the market if people really want to use their home screen as a church lol

Just got these in the T-Mobile call centers to play around with yesterday -- they feel really great. Solid -- they weigh about as much as a G1, but don't feel quite as bulky.

Motorola Sholes (better hardware, dpad on the right) + verizon + stock android.. just took the wind completely out of the CLIQ for me.

I am pretty convinced that there will be a Sholes in my future now.

Running a rom on my g1 with the Blur UI currently and the only thing that I actually like is how much smoother the screen animations are/transititons, the messaging widgets, and that's about it.
Get that ported to the g1 in the market and I"m done with this rom.

Just made up my mind I'm getting one. I'll still have my g1, old faithful, waiting in the wings. Waiting for me to stop cheeting on her with the newest younger, shinier model.

The hardware just isn't enough of a bump for me to want it. It's still the same ole slow processor in it for crying out loud. At least give us the ARM 8 600Mhz. I'm waiting for the N900 but, that will be kind of sad leaving Android all together.

um actually excited about getting this mainly because its something different lol. just found out the cliq has the dual mics for noise canceling just like the N1.
