Can we have an app that search for local radio stations, depending where you are at, and that you can listen to it as well?
Not the streaming or internet ones.

unless i am forgetting something this is a hardware issue and the G1 is lacking the hardware so no you cannot have an AM/FM radio what-so-ever.

That's right, no hardware for it. Not possible, unfortunately.

Does the ipone has a built in radio tuner? I'm asking because there is an app called iheart and that allows it to receive local radio stations. I think iheart would solve this problem.

Iheartradio is an application made for/by clear channel and only allows you to listen to clear channel radio stations. It is also not a radio receiver, uses your data service to provide the audio

I already know its not a radio receiver, the point is it can be accomplished with the right app.
