Hi,
I am new to this forum and I spend quite a while looking for a solution on the net and of course here...

I would like to change the Icons of my apps (not only on the homescreen, for that I am unsing Bettercut).

I read that this is possible but a bit difficult to do. I don't know much about the android platform and before I am doing any damage I thought maybe someone could explain to me how to do so.

Is it possible to do it on a non-rooted G1?

Thats what I found out:
"An easy way to do this is replacing the res/drawable/icon.png with the picture of your choice"

and
"verwrite the file <project>\res\drawable\icon.png with the icon you want for your app"

But how does this work?

Thank you and I hope to get some help.
