Ok guys so just as I promised, a recomiled Hero ROM based off the fan favorite MoDaCo. This ROM is COMPLETELY FULL. Tell me if you would like something added and I will be glad to do so. A "lite" version may also be in store. I implemented a lot of speed boosters, tell me this isn't a blistering quick ROM. THIS IS FASTER THAN THE ORIGINAL MoDaCo 2.2. If you don't believe me, give this a flash.

NOTE: First boot takes awhile, and when you first turn on your phone its a little slow for 30 seconds or so. This is mostly due to the amount of widgets set up and resources being hogged. Remove whatever widgets dont tickle your fancy, this should speed things up

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Haykuro's "death" spl
2. 3 Partitions in this order: Fat32, Ext 1/2/3, Linux-Swap
3. Class 6 sd card (like every other Hero ROM)
4. Cyanogen's Recovery image 1.3.1+

2.Can you scroll through more than 3 threads in the messaging widget?
3.Is spell correct working when composing sms?

1. no doesnt flip.. if it is flipping it flipping faster than i can see..
2. i need to get some more text messages since i just flashed it a lil while ago. but your saying 3 messages scrolling ???
3. spell correct was in the future changes... i dont think thats working in any of the newer hero roms...

If you want the flip clock to flip again, you will have to go back to one of the older builds.

I'm currently back on JACxHero 1.6br2, clock flips, I can scroll through all my texts in the message widget, spell correct works while sending sms, peep notification goes away just by swiping to the widget, it's overall the most stable and feature full Hero I've ever used. Every widget is included and flash is working good. I think I'm going to stay put until or if bluetooth ever gets fixed.

lol.. the speed makes up for the minor flaws like the predictive text in the sms, and widget... i hate widgets anyway cause they normally slow down hero roms, but this one aint slowing down... im like wtf this cant be real !!!!

Not to me, i need those things lol, my Hero roms are never slow, my user.conf takes care of that.

btw I looked at the stock user.conf and its almost like mines:)

ive been running it since about 12 noon eastern time and not a single problem...
did you wipe the ext partition ??
hopefully you didnt use your own user.conf file.. cause im not using anything but what the rom has naturally

Of course I'm using my own user.conf:cool:, it happened while the phone was just sitting there, I haven't used it in like 20mins, I heard it vibrate and looked at it and it was on the G1 screen for about 3 mins the bootlooped on the Hero screen for about 10. I pulled the battery and it started fine, been running smooth ever since I flashed though.

its your user.conf file... i tried someone's user conf file the other day on jacherski and same thing happened to me... its something to do with the settings.. try running the rom without your own custom user.conf.. you will see that you dont need a custom user.conf file...

I ran it a few hrs with the stock settings, it was good but mines souped it up even more. I'm going to keep it for awhile its still a good rom. Advanced Task Manager fc'ed on me from the beginning, the last two tabs dont work but its not a big deal.

That blur gonna be sweet and it should work perfect on the G1 since it has a keyboard and similar specs. I might sit out the first build or 2 til its pretty much stable though.

I've been Helping Drizzy test today and now Haykuro is working on it, "Yes I said Haykuro" so I'm waiting on the finished product.
I opened the keyboard on Home and was shocked, I forgot how it was to be able to do that!! :D lol
