T-Mobile also has another Android phone in the pipelines, a special edition MyTouch (http://www.tmonews.com/tag/mytouch3g/) made with Fender (yes, the guitar company). This phone will sport a 3.5mm headset jack (finally!), pre-installed 16GB microSD card with exclusive pre-loaded video and audio clips by iconic musicians, and it may even have a nice wood finish.

I really want a headphone jack for my MT3G. I wonder if they'll let me trade! (I'm sure they will, for a nominal fee!)

Ehhhh.... I was expecting something less polished and mangeable, but I guess it works good between keeping it in your pocket and all.
I was thinking about those wooden Iphone cases.

think its the same processor, its probably a class 2 but it could be a 6, the sdxc micro cards are on the way

Probably, I haven't any problems with my G1 and I like a physical keyboard.

Yea I know those processors are on the way, I've actually talked with someone who is beta testing some phone, I don'ct care to look right now, but it has the 1000GHZ processor! So I know they're on the way which is neat.

But I'd like to know how the Hero and MT3G handle the browser refresh and problems that the g1 has.

Don't know about the Hero or the MT3G, I think they are basically the same as the G1 with more ram. I think the 1ghz processor could help.

Yea, I just don't have compache or swapper running cause I have a low class sd card.

And idk I like the sound of the 1000GHZ processors but I wonder how they'll treat the auto refresh and cache problems.

I have a no class card and I am running Hero without that problem, overclocking and swap with swappiness anything over 60 should eliminate that problem.

Wow, Sprint gets the Hero, and an 800 MHZ OLED screen Sammy with a keyboard, VZW gets the 1GHZ Sholes. Meanwhile, T-Mobiile gets the Cliq, and another bastardized version of the HTC Magic with a 3.5mm jack, equipped with higher data and text prices to boot.

I was until it crashed lol, I am using a 2 gig I had with my dash about 3 years ago.

Lol yea I figured it would fry it, I have a 2GB but its the sams as the stock g1 just 2 gigs now.

It hung in there a long time though but when I put the 3 partitions on there I guess it got overworked, seems like this 2gb is gonna last forever.

I currently just flashed the PULSE rom, and when I took out my 2 gig from my Soul Life rom with a partition for aps2sd [which doesn't work] it boot looped my phone.

haha.

put in my 1 gig with the rom/.zip update , wiped flashed, and now it loading up.
