Is there a way to do this? Other than SwitchRom becuase it doesnt work for me? I want to back up my ext so when i have to wipe it for a hero build i could just replace it.

You can do it w/ Linux easily.

did you download the switchrom file and put it on your sd ? here is the post on xda with instructions . download the file at the bottom of the post , rename it switchrom.sh , put it on the main part of your sd . you know the process . same as for compcache and the user.conf :)

yea but it didnt work on adb and the guy who made it said that he needs to change something for it to work on mytouch

Make sure to put switchrom in /system/sd (ext partition).

i did exactly perfectly what the thing says but the guy who made it told me it wont work on mytouch
