16 gb sd card??...

hello all..

well i have 2 questions.. im clueless about this :confused:...
so im looking into getting a 16 gb sd card... my question is whats the differance between a class 6 sdcard and the class 2?... and also wat would be a reasonable price for a 16 gb card?...can someone plz help... thanks!:)

A class 6 will transfer large picture files faster than a class 2, basically.

Class 6 is way faster than Class 2. Meaning that (practically) your music/movies/pictures will transfer between your phone and PC much faster. What Class 6 really is better for is when you root your phone. Class 6 opens you up to much faster read/write times so moving your apps to SD they will still be quick, where the slower Class 2 will slow the apps down. I personally just ordered a 8GB Class 6 card so I can run Hero roms with Swap and APPS2SD. 8GB C6 cards are about $20+ shipped when 16GB C6 cards are $70+! I would recommend even for normal usage to at least look at Class 4 cards. I don't know the availability of 16GB C4 cards are though.
