Bad ext partition [Archive]

Ok so when i got my mytouch i rooted and put a cyan rom on it...The cyan rom automatically did apps2sd, i didnt have a partition on it or anything. When i go into setting SD card, it doesnt show secondary sd space (ext). Whenever i try to mount/system/sd it doesnt let me. I have been told i have a bad/corrupted ext. So what should i do. If i need to repartition, i will but can i back up my apps first.?

Use backup for root users to back up your apps , it will reinstall them also . As a secondary backup , use astro to backup your apks . I'm sure other members use other programs also .

yea i have both of these apps, kk so im going to back up with astro and back up my WHOLE sd to my computer, then partition with amon ras recovery, should i then use the put apps on sd ?
this is what im thinking....
1.backup apps
2.partition sd
3. flash cyans 4.1.999 rom which will then put apps2sd?

with adb you can
adb pull /system/sd/app c:\app
adb pull /system/sd/app-private c:\app-private

Push apps back to phone from the computer
adb push c:\app /system/sd/app
adb push c:\app-private /system/sd/app-private

wow! i f'ing love android. didnt have to wipe or restore anything! just restored my sd after and all the apps and everything are here! going to try swtichrom now!
