Hero ROMS: JacxHeroSki 2.2b vs all others

What is the best Hero ROM to use hands down.

Currently i am using the jacxski v2.2b with a Class 4 4GB SDHC Card with 3 partitions and ext3.

Its fast but gives me some loading screens in messages or when I flip the orientation.

Anything i can do to speed up my Rom even more or is there a better hero ROM out there?

cyanogen 4.1.999 is the fastest. and yes he is still making roms, as long he does not modifie the apps.

The maxisma Hero 1.7 is pretty fast, I played with it this weekend but I just don't care for Hero.

I think he wants the SenseUI. I believe cyanogen 4.1.999 doesn't have the SenseUI it's just the an optimised stock build.

Naw, its slow because he had to make it legal and most of it is custom work, his older roms are way faster.

How do i go to one of cyanogens earlier more customized roms that give great speed and enhancement.

Any cyanogen ROM that is fast and easy to install now that im running cyanogen 1.6.

if you're on android v1.6, you're probably on cyanogen v4.1.11, no? probably you should post in a cyanogen thread, as that's where the cyanogen fans are. 4.1.11.1 is awesome, imo, but i haven't tried anything more recent than that yet.

maxisma's hero v1.7 is the best hero build i've tried, btw (based heavily on jachero), but i keep going back to cyanogen because it just seems the fastest, most stable, and most battery-friendly.

wipe & flash 4.0.4, but you may have app data conflicts from donut stuff. i did when i went from 4.1.11 to 4.0.4, but post in a cyanogen thread and simms22 or somebody can be more helpful.

Thanks for the droid explorer, never heard of that although um so efficient at adb now that i dont really need it. Uma install it anyway for lazy days. Do you think this Sprint app stuff needs its on thread here or should we just leave it at the xda.
