Hey guys, most of us here joined the community just about 1 year ago... i joined october 11, and some other of my good friends joined around that time also, i just wanted to wish you guys a happy 1 year to the android community!

I only recently joined the site, but was a G1 pre-order person.

oh-oh , 1 year warranty is about to run up , oct 20th . g1 , black . never had any issues like many preorderers did . still in great physical shape . no carrying case , just my back pocket . i recently replaced the battery cover , just because i found a cool one with a bio-hazard symbol on it :)

i couldn't wait to dump verizon and got a G1 on launch day, but was a bit late to this party. :)

It was the man, the best android hacker ever, he also brought us a recovery image with nandroid around the beginning of november, the great JesusFreke.

wait, maybe this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2850488&postcount=10) was the first root find. i'm not sure if it was a deliberate or accidental discovery first...
