E.g. driving in your car and you remember, as you pass the shoe menders / dry cleaners, that you have to take your shirts and your shoes in, as you have a job interview in two days time. Now, you can either wait till you get home and remember to set a reminder on your calendar app' but if your any thing like me, you will forget even to set a reminder.

Wouldn’t it be cool if, right there and then, whilst you have your phone docked to your car dash board (as in England it is illegal to use your phone whilst driving) you could just hit a button on your phone that opens up an app' that enables you to voice record a reminder to attend the Dry cleaner / shoe menders tomorrow morning and you could just tap the screen to set time and date for the scheduled reminder. No excessive typing on the keyboard to distract you from the road. When the scheduled time arrives the alarm goes and your own voice recorded reminder plays back to you. How cool!

This has to be possible?

i think locale has alerts if you're in a certain area, but don't know if it has any calendar-type function.

i just put sticky notes on my homescreen.
